People have to remember that it is the veterans come in all shapes and colors. There is no black and white or brown. The color is RED WHITE AND BLUE.

We built this fucking country with the blood of our past ancestors. We still are treated like second class immigrants. They have gotten too bold. They don't try to hide it. It's fuck us. So I say Fuck them worst.

He want his players especially his black players to stand at attention for a song that in it's original writing ACTUALLY CELEBRATED KILLING BLACK PEOPLE yet white America think black people should feel obligated to stand up for a song that was not written for us ?, are you fucking serious???? Black people gave up their lives for this Country serving in the military and where treated like shit by THIS COUNTRY while serving and when they returned fro serving so when you white people talk about men and women sacrificing their lives for our right to live our way of life exactly what men and women are you referring to because like I said black military personnel was treated like shit. White people you keep standing for your song and us black people who choose to will continue to not stand for a song that was not written with us in mind.

Romney you probably know nothing about the anthem. if they knew they were going to fight for low class citizens they would still fight. because they are Americans.

Black people that commit crimes need to understand how to obey a command when the authoritarian is armed with a gun. That's not the time to act aggressive and uncooperative to be the hero unless you're trying to commit suicide.

Two Black men were killed by police again, coach your as quiet as a church mouse pissin on cotton! That's why I kneel at the anthem, oh and I notice you don't mention the part of the anthem about killing runaway slaves. Plus Black men had to sleep in different barracks, they got second rate guns, planes and food in the military, barracks was only integrated since 68 so spare my community this bulls***!

Isn't this the kind of stuff they do in North Korea? I thought people in America have the freedom to do as they please, and not be forced into phony patriotism. How about this coach bring to light the way in which this country treats our veterans once they return back into society? I bet that wont happen because actually dealing with real life issues just doesn't give you that warm fuzzy feeling that phony patriotism gives.

And I'll add that this wasn't a teachable moment it was a dictatorial moment and nothing more. If anyone disagrees remove the coach and replace his image with Stalin or Hitler or Pol Pot...and the list goes on. Tell me I'm wrong and I'm willing to state that you're more than likely a full fledged member of the Deplorables.

I had uncles who fought in the war and were captured and  tortured. They suffered for the rest of their lives from it.  It is about respect for people who fought for our  freedoms.      There were many people who fought and died.   It is about all of our citizens...not one race.  The world is not a perfect  place.  My uncles were not treated well, but I am not angry with the Japanese because it was just the way the world was at that time.  We need to respect the people who were        courageous and tried to make the world a better place.  As  for the others, we need to learn from their mistakes and try to make things better.  Dissension is not good for our          country.  We are so blessed and we have freedom because of the courage of many of our citizens and their  sacrifices.  They deserve our respect and standing for our flag and       national anthem is a part of that.  I never saw the verses that some of you are speaking of.  But, those are not what we     sing stand for.
